The tour will commence with a scenic journey towards Vilafames for approximately 45 minutes to the lovely breathtaking village situated on top of a rocky hill and crowned by a rugged 14th century castle. This quaint town has changed over the centuries, which gives today's tourists a glimpse of the old time Spain, whilst your guide is giving commentary about the history of this classical destination.
The tour will then continue with your guide proceeding up to the top of a hill which provides the most amazing panoramic views, simply stunning. As you make your way back down the hill you will pass the front of the Contemporary Art Museum, which was located in the 15th century Palau del Batlle, the museum holds approximately 500 pieces of art from the 1960's all the way to the present time.
The tour will now allow free time, to explore the destination and village at your own pace. Enjoy the cobbled lanes that this lovely village has to offer, the side streets with souvenir shops, or simply take a coffee in one of the many bars.
After the free time your guide will then accompany you to experinence a tour of the local winery, learn about how the wine is produced, the conditions and then get to participate in sampling the wine, which is an immersive experience.
Once you have explored the winery, it is now time to return to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure!
