Itinerary

When does my tour start?

THIS IS A PRIVATE TOUR

You will be met at the port by a Cruising Excursions representative who will then guide you to your transportation ready to commence your tour.

Departing Greenock (Glasgow) we travel over the Erskine Bridge taking in breath taking views of the Clyde estuary and Dunbarton and its castle, before making our first stop at Luss on the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond.  There will be astop of around 45 minutes in Luss, to explore the visitor's centre, to shop for souvenirs or to just simply gaze at the beautiful Loch Lomond.

We will then board our transportation to set off through The Trossachs, also known as ‘Scotland in miniature’ because of its stunning scenery and more famous, perhaps, for being home to the outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.

After a brief stop in the quaint village of Aberfoyle, where there is opportunities to have lunch (not included) or shop,  we travel over the Duke’s Pass, pausing for a glimpse of Loch Achray, before we depart for Stirling early afternoon and our last stop is the magnificent Stirling Castle, sitting high on volcanic rock, offering wonderful views of the landscape. You will have time to visit the castle (entrance fees are not included but are available below to add on to this tour) and learn of the exploits of key historical figures including William WallaceRobert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots.

We then make our way back to Greenock port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.

Tour may run in reverse, or vary from the above description depending on cruise arrival and departure times
