Drive back to Greenock port

Leaving the port of Greenock (Glasgow), we'll travel over the Erskine Bridge, taking in breathtaking views of the Clyde estuary, Dunbarton and its castle, before making our first stop at Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond. From here, we'll enter The Trossachs, known as ‘Scotland in miniature’ because of its stunning scenery and famous for being home to the outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.

After a brief stop in Aberfoyle, we'll travel over the Duke’s Pass, pausing for a glimpse of Loch Achray, before we head to Stirling in the early afternoon. Our last stop is the magnificent Stirling Castle, which sits high on a piece of volcanic rock and offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You'll have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of famed historical figures, including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. We'll then make our way back to Glasgow.

    Entrance to Stirling Castle are not included within the tour price, however you can reserve these skip the line tickets by clicking the supplement below. Time spent at Stirling Castle will be approx. 90 minutes
    Please note: Random bag searches can take place at Stirling Castle. This is for ongoing security reasons. Suitcases, large rucksacks are not permitted. There is no storage facility for large bags, prams or pushchairs or wheelchairs.
    The tour duration is approx. 8 hours However, depending on the porting times for your ship, this tour may be shortened to suit.
    There is some walking involved in this tour please ensure you wear comfortable and suitable footwear. The walking is mainly at Stirling Castle, there are steps and inclines within the castle. If you are not entering the castle you may wish to walk into Stirling town, however the castle is situated in a steep hillside location.
    For people travelling with a child/children kindly specify their age on the special request box.
