You will be met at the port by a Cruising Excursions representative.
Discover some of the South East’s most iconic landmarks as your English-Speaking driver commences your drive with a viewing of the famous 'White Cliffs of Dover'. A magnificent coastal site overlooking the English Channel. Perhaps the most famous & iconic stretch of British Coastline. With its white chalk face the views both toward and from the cliffs are stunning and offer amazing views, on clear days you may even be able to see as far as France. Here you will have a photo stop to admire the views with plenty of photo opportunities
Your English-Speaking Driver will then continue to Kearsney Abbey, it’s history can be traced back to the Norman Conquest, with its 10 acres of open plan parkland it’s the ideal spot for a leisurely walk with a wonderful photographic backdrop of the historic abbey before continuing to St Margaret’s Bay.
St Margaret’s bay is said to be the first place in England to receive the rising sun, the village and bay offer an inspiring backdrop, spectacular countryside and perfect photo opportunities.
We then continue to Dover Castle, the most iconic of all English fortresses commanding the gateway to the realm for nine centuries, it is the largest castle in England.
If you wish to enter the Castle there will be time to do this (NB Entrance tickets payable on arrival generally around £16 per person)
After the visit to the Dover Castle we will end our tour with a scenic driver back to the port of Dover in plenty of time for the cruise ships departure.
