Approx timings are below: Morning pick up from Tianjin port Transfer to Great Wall (2.5-hour driving ) Visit at Great Wall (1.5-hour) Free time and Lunch at own expense (1.5-hour) Visit to Sacred Way (45-min) Transfer to Olympic Village (1-hour driving ) Visit to Olympic Park exterior (30-min) Afternoon Transfer back to Tianjin port (2-hour driving ) When does my tour start? This tour start time will be set to suit your ship arrival time When do I return to port after my tour/excursion? The tour is 12 hours in length so you will be returned in plenty of time for your cruise ship departure. All tour times are based on Shore time (i.e. local time, - not ship time)

You will be met at the port by a Cruising Excursions Representative who will then escort you to your transportation ready to start your tour.

You will begin your tour with a drive to the Great Wall, which will take approx 2.5hrs, and upon arrival you will make you way to the popular section of the Wall at Juyongguan. The Great Wall climbs across superb mountain scenery approx 70km northwest of Beijing, and was originally built to protect Chinese empires against invasions. Some of the Walls were originally built around the 7th Century BC, and joined together later to create The Great Wall. With its high battlements and watchtowers, the wall provides wonderful views across the hills. Your guided tour of the wall will take approx 1.5hrs.

After your visit to the Great Wall you will have approx 1.5hrs free time to explore and maybe grab a bite to eat (payable on the day). You knowledgeable guide on the day will be able to give you information regrading local restaurants and places to go to relax and unwind.

You will continue your tour to visit the Sacred Way, an attractive tree-lined walk which leads to the Ming Tombs. This collection of tombs were built by the emperors of the Ming Dynasty and shows sets of guardian animal and human statues, including the impressive front gate which consists of 3 arches called the Great Red Gate. 

On the last part of this tour you will visit the the Beijing Olympic Park, located at the north end of of Beijing City. The Olympic Park as originally built for the summer Olympics of 2008, and will be hosting the 2022 Winter Olympics. With a large area of 1215 hectares, it contains a 760 hectares green forest, National museum, exhibition area, Olympic Village and Olympic competition avenues. 

At the end of the tour you will transferred back to the port to join your ship in plenty of time.
