Suggested itinerary: Pick up from the port Drive to Nakhal Visit Al Thowarah Springs Drive to Nakhal Fort Free time Drive to the oldest souk Drive back to the port When does my tour start? This tour has a set start time at 09:00 am. Please make sure your ships docking times will be suitable as the duration of this tour is 9 hours in length.

Guests depart from the Port towards Barkha where they will visit the fish and vegetable market at the beach.  Here they will witness fresh catch coming in from the Arabian Sea.  

From here we will drive to the beautiful oasis of Nakhal, & visit the Al Thowarah Springs.  This warm water, which is full of minerals, has been offering relief from the dry surroundings for centuries.  Guests will have the opportunity to see the Falaj system, which is a cleverly constructed irrigation system.  

The tour will then take a drive to Nakhal fort (guests can also use the toilet facilities outside the Fort), an impressive sight set on a rocky outcrop surrounded by palm trees.  We then proceed to the hotel – a resort built on the theme of well-being ness. 

Here guests will enjoy lunch (at own expense) followed by leisure time to enjoy swimming or enjoy moving / relaxing at the pool / lawns of the resort.  This will be a Rest Stop also before returning to your coach to drive to one of the oldest souq of Oman, Muttrah Souq.  This is a mix of the old and the new amidst dazzling 18th century merchant’s house. 

Here guests will have the opportunity to enjoy shopping for approx. 1 hour, if they choose to.
